About Timothy
I have been described by parents and Heads of school as inspirational.
I've much experience of tutoring and teaching with different exam boards and extensive laboratory-based practical work. Further qualifications including Lead Practitioner and Teaching English as a Foreign Language in the Mainstream Classroom as well as holding Head of Department roles show I have much experience to ensure success.

I adapt my teaching approach to the way YOU learn and have 30+ years of teaching experience, QTS and am a Lead Practitioner in Science Education
Lessons can be from 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours depending on level, topic and student concentration.
Special Educational Needs are not a problem and I can work with a support worker if required. I also teach students for whom English is not their first language.
I work one to one on the topics YOU need to learn or revise and I work with home-taught individuals and small groups organised by homeschooling parents.
I can teach from Common Entrance Examination (aged 11-13) up to KS3, GCSE and A level.

Details
I prioritise work with schools and Local Authorities for students who have been referred for home teaching but cannot get a tutor. In these circumstances I will accept Local Authority rates.
I also work with overseas students. Please do not let limited income prevent you asking for tutoring. Again, I can be flexible with my tutoring rates for iGCSE and International A Level.
