About William

I am a newly qualified teacher with a strong passion for science, currently teaching approximately 120 students daily. My lessons cover a wide range of content, from Key Stage 3 (Year 7) to GCSE-level material. I believe in taking a thoughtful and measured approach to teaching, ensuring that students fully comprehend each concept before moving on. While I emphasise the importance of a solid understanding, I also strive to challenge my students, encouraging them to stretch their abilities and reach their full potential.

About the lesson

I am a dedicated and patient educator, committed to supporting students in a way that aligns with their learning pace. I ensure that students fully grasp each concept before progressing, fostering a thorough understanding of the material. I hold a teaching degree, which I completed a year ago, and I have extensive experience in education before my university studies. I work with students aged 11-16 and am well-versed in the science curriculum for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Years 7-11). My lessons are tailored to the specific needs of each student, with the duration varying depending on the complexity of the content and the amount of support required. I prioritise ensuring that each student feels confident in their understanding before moving on to new topics.

I organised for my son to have some sessions with William regarding his upcoming biology GCSE exams. He was really struggling with human respiration and how cells help us to make energy. Within only a handful of sessions he was explaing to us the krebs cycle and all about ATP as we tested him from the book! Couldn't recommend William more - polite, professional, and a great teacher.
