About Helen
I’m a fun, friendly, and approachable person who genuinely loves teaching and working with people. I really enjoy building relationships with my students and creating a relaxed, positive environment where they feel comfortable and confident.
Outside of work, I love traveling, trying new places for coffee, and spending time with my family and friends. I’ve lived and worked in both the UK and abroad, which has given me a broad outlook and helped me connect with people from all different backgrounds.
I bring a lot of energy and patience to what I do, and I always aim to make learning feel enjoyable rather than stressful.

Hi, I’m a graduate from the University of Manchester and a fully qualified teacher with over 10 years’ experience working in education.
I currently teach in primary schools and have extensive experience supporting children aged 3–11 across a range of subjects. I specialise in English, including phonics, reading, writing and early literacy development.
I am also able to teach adults and have experience supporting with reading, writing and spoken English, helping to build confidence and communication skills.
I offer engaging, personalised sessions tailored to individual needs, whether your child needs support, consolidation, or challenge.
