About Leah
Hello, I’m Leah, an enthusiastic and experienced teacher with over six years of classroom and tutoring experience, dedicated to helping every child unlock their true potential. I pride myself on creating lessons that are engaging, structured, and confidence-boosting. My teaching is not just about meeting targets, but about inspiring a genuine love for learning and building lifelong learners who feel empowered to take on new challenges. I have supported students across both Primary and Secondary education, successfully guiding them through SATs, 11+ entrance exams, and GCSEs. I take the time to understand each student’s strengths, areas for development, and preferred learning style, then tailor my lessons to make learning achievable, enjoyable, and rewarding. My teaching approach is student-centred, structured, and confidence-building. I tailor every lesson to each child’s individual learning style and pace, ensuring they feel supported, motivated, and challenged. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, though I can adjust this depending on the student’s age, attention span, or exam preparation needs. I’m a qualified teacher with 6 years of classroom and tutoring experience, working across Primary and Secondary levels. I’ve supported many pupils through SATs, 11+ entrance exams, and GCSEs, helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed. My lessons are suitable for students aged 6–16, including those who need help catching up, want to boost their confidence, or are aiming for top exam results.
