About Marie
With over 12 years of teaching experience, I am an experienced Piano tutor for School students, College learners, and working professionals. I enjoy helping students discover the joy of music while developing skills and confidence in playing piano.
My teaching approach is student-focused and adaptable. I adjust lessons according to each student’s learning style, pace, and goals. I emphasise technique, rhythm, coordination, and musical expression. I also encourage consistent practice and provide support to overcome challenges.
I teach piano fundamentals, classical techniques, popular piano styles, chord progressions, scales, and improvisation. I also guide students in music theory, sight reading, ear training, and performance preparation.
A strength of my teaching is clear communication and encouragement. I create a motivating learning environment and help students become independent, confident piano players.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace, skill level, and musical interests. Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm, and performance preparation to help students become confident and well-rounded musicians.
