About William
I am a man who has coached many people in many things. My diverse experience allows me to understand individual ways of learning. No two people are alike and therefore to teach one must adapt to those seeking knowledge not the other way around as is so common in school. I can teach writing because I write daily myself and I am acutely aware of how progress is made or thwarted. If you want to learn how to be a better writer I can help you. Not because I am a miracle worker but because I will find this best way to communicate with you. Together we will speak and hear in a language that resonates with you. You will learn something new on your terms.

Everyone has a unique voice. By voice I mean a way of communicating ideas. What makes a writer exceptional is that they have discovered their uniqueness. When we work together we will explore your ideas and thoughts through small exercises of creating phrases and conceptual frameworks. We will build on these to begin to craft a story or idea. Using techniques such as analogy and comparison we will discover not only the thought to be conveyed but structure to communicate. Over time the voice you write in will be your own. It will become native to only you and thus unique. Once you have found your voice you will be able to apply it to all writing projects. You will have become a writer not someone who writes.
