About Christian
Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, I grew up with Gospel music and have been passionate about it all my life. I was classically trained, moving to Europe in 2010 to pursue my career as an opera singer, while continuing to perform and evolve within the Gospel tradition. During my Master's studies in Lausanne, I wrote my thesis on the history and meaning of the Negro Spiritual, which musically informed the Gospel genre as we know it today.
Having performed extensively as both an operatic artist and a Gospel soloist, I am deeply passionate about sharing my knowledge with aspiring singers. I offer private vocal instruction designed to help you build a healthy, versatile technique, whether your goal is mastering classical repertoire or exploring the ever-evolving world of Gospel music.
