About Claire
25 years experience, a teacher and coach. I have learned that encouragement and positivity are the keys to success in learning a difficult instrument like the violin. Discipline is best taught with a smile through cultivating love for the instrument in gentle and sensitive ways. I have heard many stories about violin teachers being strict and discouraging to their students and have dedicated much of my time to helping adults who regret quitting restore their love of playing and getting over their insecurities.

Hello, my name is Claire and I have been a studio musician for the past 20 years. I’ve recorded with major label artists and indie bands as well as composed for video games and movies. I’m a string arranger, composer, and producer. Let me take you on a journey learning the violin and finding your own personal style! Learn classical music or fiddle, contemporary, pop or jazz and other styles from around the world. Gain an appreciation of other cultures and learn the history and origin of the violin. Enrich you or your child's life with the gift of music appreciation and skills.
