Hello! I am a reading and writing tutor based in Las Vegas, Nevada. I have over three years of experience tutoring students of different grade levels and academic needs. I have taught students as young as three who were only just beginning to learn the alphabet, and students as old as seventeen who were looking to excel in their English classes. I also have experience teaching adult students to improve their literacy skills.
While I have tutored students with varying educational needs, my background primarily consists of helping students with dyslexia learn to develop the skills necessary to excel in reading and writing. I am trained in all levels of the Barton system and specialize in helping students develop skills in phonemic awareness, decoding, and reading fluency.
My lessons are for anyone who would like to develop skills that will allow them to read and write confidently and independently. Lesson plans will vary based on individual needs and grade level.
