About Ojochide
I am a passionate and experienced Reading Interventionist and Specialist dedicated to helping every learner discover their full potential. I am trained in the Orton-Gillingham method, the Science of Reading, LETRS, and Letterland—evidence-based approaches that build strong foundational literacy skills through structured, multisensory instruction. With years of experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, I create a safe, encouraging environment where reading becomes both achievable and enjoyable. I use proven strategies to strengthen phonemic awareness, decoding, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension, tailoring each lesson to meet individual goals. Families can trust that I bring professionalism, patience, and genuine care to every session. My mission is not only to help students improve their reading skills but to empower them to become confident, independent readers who love to learn.

My teaching approach centers on meeting each learner where they are. I begin by assessing a student’s current reading level, strengths, and areas for growth. From there, I design targeted, evidence-based lessons that combine phonics, decoding, fluency, and comprehension strategies in a structured yet engaging way. A typical lesson includes a short warm-up, focused skill instruction, guided practice with modeling, and independent reading activities that build confidence and reinforce learning.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students who may feel frustrated or discouraged. I use multisensory techniques, positive reinforcement, and individualized pacing to help each learner make real progress while enjoying the process.
My lessons are ideal for elementary and middle school students who need extra support in reading—whether they have an IEP, are English language learners, or simply benefit from targeted reading intervention to close skill gaps and build lifelong literacy skills.
