About Layelle

Hello and welcome, my name is Layelle. Reading is where I excel, and I'm eager to help your student find their strength in it as well. Whether you're struggling with reading comprehension, looking to boost your reading scores on the SAT, or just beginning to read, I'm here to help. I started reading at 3 years old, and it has been a huge part of my life ever since. I scored in the 98th percentile in Reading/Writing on the June SAT with a score of 740. I also scored in the 97th percentile on the Woodcock Johnson (An intelligence test that also demonstrates cognitive ability and academic achievement). I love working with all kinds of people, especially children, and hope to become a Neurologist someday. Besides reading, I enjoy playing the cello, learning new languages, and visiting the beach!

About the lesson

My goal is to show my students that reading can open up a world of possibilities. The first session will be a “get to know you” meeting, so the student can become comfortable with me. This initial meeting is crucial for building a comfortable learning environment and for me to gauge your student's strengths and areas for growth. This allows me to tailor each session for their individual needs. Sessions are an hour long or more based on how much assistance they need. Our sessions will be engaging and insightful, paving the way for both personal and academic growth!
