About Elisha

Hi there! I'm Elisha

When I’m not with my dogs or teaching neighborhood kids, I’m right here working with learners and their families. As a parent with 21 nieces and nephews, I know learning thrives when it’s personal and engaging. At Focus Lab Co., we pair adaptive IXL tutoring with strategic Neurologically based tools to build strong one-on-one connections and deliver customized blueprints for every student. I can't wait to work with you!

About the lesson

At Focus Lab Co., every lesson is designed to make learning engaging, structured, and deeply personal. By bridging academic development with practical creativity, our sessions combine adaptive IXL tutoring in core subjects (Math, Reading, Writing) with the Perpecta creative framework. This dual-track approach eliminates skill gaps while helping students build confidence, express themselves authentically, and think strategically.

The 3-Step Session Blueprint
Lessons follow a structured, high-energy format tailored directly to your child's developmental tier—whether they are building elementary fundamentals in Focus Creators (ages 6–10) or mastering critical thinking in Focus Strategists (ages 11–14):

1. Review & Check-In: We kick off by celebrating recent wins, building momentum, and reviewing core concepts.

2. Interactive Deep Dive: We tackle new academic topics through hands-on creative projects, strategic discussions, and targeted IXL skill boosts tailored to your child's unique learning style.

3. Fun Recap: We wrap up with an engaging recap to reinforce key takeaways, ensuring every breakthrough sticks.

Safe, Patient & Student-Centered
Every child learns differently. We create a supportive, friendly space where students feel safe to ask questions, explore ideas, celebrate every win, and reach their full potential guided by a customized action plan.
