About Ayush
Hello! I am a recent 2026 sixth-form student who achieved 10 Grade 9s at GCSE, including a Grade 9 in both Edexcel IGCSE Maths and AQA Further Maths Level 2, alongside top marks in Physics. I am currently studying Maths, Further Maths, Economics, and Physics at A-Level.
Because I recently sat these exact examinations under the current specifications, I am familiar with the demands of the mark schemes, common examiner pitfalls, and effective revision strategies. Having recently navigated the same syllabus, I understand the challenges of tackling complex problem-solving questions and know how to break them down into manageable steps.
My approach focuses on building genuine subject mastery rather than passive memorisation. Whether you are aiming to secure a top-tier Grade 9 or working to achieve a solid Grade 6 or 7, I provide a structured, supportive, and focused environment tailored to your individual learning style. My Teaching Philosophy & Approach
Build Strong Foundations: When introducing a new topic, I walk through clear worked examples to ensure the baseline concepts are fully understood.
Active Problem Solving: No passive memorisation here. Students use a stylus or guide me through live applied questions so I can check they actually know how and why a method works.
Eliminate Careless Mistakes: At GCSE level, silly arithmetic or working-out errors are what usually drop students by 1 or 2 grades.
I struggled with this myself and fell just 2 marks short of a Grade 9 in my Further Maths mock exam! That experience forced me to develop rigorous checking habits, which helped me iron out those errors and secure a solid Grade 9 in the real exams. I teach these exact strategies so my students don't make the same mistakes. Whether you're aiming for a Grade 9 or Grade 7, these careless errors are usually the main culprit—not a lack of ability to solve tricky questions.
