About Asa
I am a recent graduate with a degree in Natural Sciences. My degree had a specific biological focus and I specialised in nueroscience in my third year alongside a research project on Alzheimer’s therapeutics. However, through my degree I have garnered broad biological knowledge and my A-level study has given me a secure background in Mathematics alongside Chemistry and Physics.
I have experience with mentoring and tutoring students of various ages, alongside occasionally having to help my younger brother with his homework.
Through my own experiences, I can appreciate how valuable a good teacher can be. I was not always as passionate about the sciences as I am now and I have some excellent teachers to thank for where I am today. I hope to provide a similar grade of teaching to help foster a passion in the subject that can lead to further study. You can expect a caring and dedicated tutor who will endeavour to do the best for every pupil.
In my spare time, I am already an ambassador for an educational access charity and hope to add to my involvement in the educational field through tutoring.

I have had a lot of prior experience through other employment with working with children ages 12 through to young adults, therefore I have a wide gamut of teaching techniques and an appreciation for tailoring lessons to age.
I am able to tutor GCSE and A-Level Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. Please enquire about Undergraduate tutoring as this may also be possible.
Lessons would typically be around an hour and I would be hoping to instil an enjoyment for the subject alongside helping improve wider understanding.
