About Maryam
Hi, I’m a friendly and patient tutor currently studying A-level Maths, Chemistry and Biology. I achieved Grade 8 in GCSE Maths and a 7 in Chemistry, and I enjoy helping students build confidence in subjects they may find challenging.
I have almost 2 years of tutoring experience working with SATs students, where I’ve helped students improve their understanding through clear explanations and supportive teaching. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual.
I teach GCSE Maths, Chemistry, and Combined Science Chemistry, focusing on breaking difficult topics down into simple steps. My goal is to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, improving their skills, and reaching their full potential.

Hi, I’m a friendly and patient tutor offering support in GCSE Chemistry and Combined Science Chemistry. I enjoy helping students improve their confidence and understanding by making difficult topics easier to understand.
I achieved a Grade 7 in GCSE Chemistry and I’m currently studying A-level Chemistry, Maths and Biology. As a current student, I understand how challenging chemistry can feel and how stressful exams and revision can be.
My lessons are relaxed, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on identifying weaker areas and breaking difficult topics down into simple, clear steps to help students build confidence.
I can help with topics such as atomic structure, bonding, chemical changes, quantitative chemistry, rates of reaction, organic chemistry, and required practicals. I also support students with revision techniques, exam practice, and improving exam technique.
My goal is to help students strengthen their understanding, build confidence, and achieve the best results possible.
