About Aaron
I recently graduated college with a degree in physics and minor in mathematics. In my undergraduate career I have been a Teaching Assistant responsible for holding help sessions and office hours for students who need extra help as well as a tutor for the physics department. Alongside those responsibilities and daily classwork, I also have 2 years of experience working a research lab conducting independent research and was lucky enough to present my work at a national physics conference. I am passionate about education and the fact that class work really can teach you valuable life skills. One of my main goals in my future career is to inspire that passion in younger students and encourage a love of STEM.

In my experience tutoring, students who struggle with a topic need individualized lessons. I do my best to understand a students struggles and tailor each individual session to best communicate with and teach them. I learn what each student needs to succeed in their current school work and focus on that topic. I am firmly against "sink or swim" teaching and I try to guide students every step of the way with the end results being the ability to confidently face problems themselves. My degree in physics has led me to develop skills in elementary and advanced mathematics, physics, and computer programming. I am willing to teach any age group that needs it!
