About Mia
I just received my Bachelor of Arts from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and will be attending Villanova Law School this fall. Throughout my time at college, as well as in elementary and high school, I took a specialized interest in English, with reading and creative writing in particular. In addition to my professional tutoring experience, having three younger sisters has given me additional experience in teaching and homework assistance, but also in grace and patience.

Hi! My name is Mia and I am so excited to work as a tutor with you or your child! In my specific approach, I believe that it is important that every student get personalized attention based on specific content or subject matter they may be struggling with. Whether I provide practice drills, questions, and tests, or read passages and novels alongside them, it is important to cater to the strengths of the student to help them grow. I have experience with all ages and a wide variety of subjects, but specialize with English for elementary schoolers, including grammar, spelling, writing, and reading comprehension.
