About Osian
Before embarking on a PhD in Yiddish Studies, I hope to share my understanding of the language with interested students, of any age or background. My enthusiasm for the language was cultivated in me by great teachers in London and Tel Aviv, and as a key to unlocking a vibrant culture, it becomes a privilege to pass on this skill.

Grammar and vocabulary can come to life with the help of literature and songs. Using textbooks, reading and listening exercises and time given for speaking, this offers a rounded introduction to the language. Having taught at the Ot Azoy language programme in London, I know that a flexible approach is best to suit the pace of the student. Timing can also be flexible according to the schedule of the student.
