About Grace
When I was a student, I went to a large school with limited opportunity for one on one tutoring. I found learning surrounded by so many noisy people difficult, and I knew there must be a better way.
I've been tutoring in my local area for a while now, and I've learnt a lot about what young people really need not just to pass exams, but to legitimately prepare them for future education. I believe teaching a student to learn to study independently, as well as in a one on one setting better prepares them for University. Long story short- I don't just want you to nail your exams, I want you to move on to the next stage of your education without needing me!

My lessons are aimed at GCSE, AS and A Level students studying English literature or language - Although I am happy to offer second language tutoring if required.
I like to begin with your year's syllabus, and work with you to create an easy to follow and organised lesson plan week by week. Each takes roughly an hour, with at least 10 minutes dedicated to your questions.
I like my lessons to be as interactive as possible, using learning tools such as presentations, spider diagrams, podcasts and apps. It's all tailored to you and your needs!
