About Neal

Hi! I’m a recent A-Level graduate offering online tutoring in GCSE Maths, Biology, and Chemistry.

I achieved grade 9s in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and Further Maths at GCSE, and I am currently predicted 3 A*s in my A-Levels. I also hold a conditional offer to study Medicine at UCL. Having recently completed these subjects myself, I have a strong understanding of both the content and the exam techniques needed to succeed.

I’ve supported GCSE students through tutoring at school and in my local area, helping them break down difficult topics, strengthen their understanding, and build confidence step by step.

I decided to start tutoring because I genuinely enjoy helping others understand things that once felt difficult to me. I know how frustrating certain topics can be, and I find it really rewarding to explain them in a way that finally makes them click.

My lessons are relaxed, interactive, and focused on building real understanding rather than memorising methods. I adapt my teaching to each student, whether they want to close knowledge gaps, improve their grades, or aim for top marks.

About the lesson

My tutoring focuses on making Maths, Biology, and Chemistry clear, simple, and easy to understand. I break down difficult topics into small, manageable steps and use clear examples to show how concepts appear in GCSE exam questions.

I use regular exam-style questions and guided practice to help students become familiar with exam structure, question types, and mark schemes. Lessons are interactive, and I ask questions throughout to check understanding and build confidence.

Lessons are typically 1 hour long, but this can be adjusted to suit the student’s needs.

I am a recent A-Level graduate with experience tutoring GCSE students both at school and locally, giving me a strong understanding of the curriculum and common problem areas.

My lessons are for GCSE students (ages 14–16) studying Maths, Biology, or Chemistry, whether they want to improve grades, build confidence, or prepare for exams.
