1. My approach is centered on fostering engagement and understanding. I prioritize:
-Conceptual Clarity: Breaking down complex ideas into simpler components is key. I use real-world examples, particularly from marine science, to connect biological concepts to everyday life.
-Active Participation: Encouraging students to ask questions, participate in discussions, and collaborate in group work is important for reinforcing their understanding.
-Customized Learning: Every student has a unique learning style. I adapt my methods based on the needs of the individual, whether it’s visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learning.
-Critical Thinking: Beyond memorization, I emphasize critical thinking by challenging students to solve problems and apply what they've learned to new scenarios.
2. Typical Length of a Lesson:
-45 minutes to 1 hour. This ensures that students stay focused and absorb the material without feeling overwhelmed.
-For younger students or shorter attention spans, I might reduce lesson length to 30-45 minutes.
-I also allow time for revision and any additional questions at the end of the lesson.
3. Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor:
-Marine Science Graduate: With a degree in Marine Science, I have a strong foundation in biological sciences, which allows me to teach biology in a detailed and informed manner.
-Scientific Background: My research background enhances my ability to convey biological and ecological principles effectively.

-Level: I cater to primary and high school students (particularly those preparing for exams)
