About Teegan-Rey
I am a passionate, structured, and dedicated English tutor with 2 years of experience providing one-to-one support for children. I focus on building strong, supportive relationships with my students, creating a positive environment where they feel comfortable learning, asking questions, and building confidence.
As someone with autism myself, I understand the importance of patience, clear communication, and adapting teaching methods to suit different learning styles and needs. This personal experience has helped me develop a greater understanding of SEN support, including the importance of creating a calm and encouraging space where every student feels valued and supported.
I create organised lesson plans, set achievable targets, and track progress to help students stay motivated and reach their goals. I am passionate about helping children improve their English skills while developing their confidence and independence.
I have recently completed my GCSEs and will be starting sixth form in September, where I will be studying A Levels in English, Politics, and History. I plan to study English at university and pursue a future career in corporate law, where strong communication, analysis, and writing skills are essential.

Every lesson is tailored to each student's individual needs, learning style, and goals. I set clear, achievable targets to track progress and build confidence, regularly reviewing them to celebrate achievements and identify areas for improvement. I create engaging, structured lesson plans that keep students motivated while adapting my teaching to suit each child. I also support students with SEN, including autism. As someone with autism myself, I understand the importance of patience, flexibility, and creating a calm, supportive environment where every child can learn with confidence and reach their full potential.
