I’m Bhajnaam Singh, a passionate science tutor with a Master’s in Microbiology and Infection from the University of Birmingham and a BSc in Biomedical Science. I specialise in tutoring Biology, Chemistry, and General Science at GCSE, A-Level, and university level, including support for mature learners returning to study. My lessons are clear, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs. I simplify complex topics using visual aids, analogies, and active questioning. Whether you're aiming to boost exam performance or deepen your understanding, I adapt each session to match your pace and learning style. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, starting with a quick recap, followed by focused teaching and guided practice. My tutoring style is friendly, focused, and tailored to each student’s learning needs. I believe in making complex topics simple through clear explanations, visual aids, and real-world examples. Every session is interactive—encouraging questions, discussions, and active problem-solving to build both understanding and confidence. My lessons typically last 60 minutes, with the option to extend for revision or more in-depth topics. I begin with a quick recap, introduce new material in manageable chunks, and finish with guided practice and feedback. I hold a Master’s degree in Microbiology and Infection from the University of Birmingham, and a BSc in Biomedical Science from Birmingham City University. My academic background includes research in microbiology, plant pathology, and molecular biology. I’ve tutored students from GCSE to university level, helping them improve grades, boost exam performance, and gain deeper interest in science. I teach Biology, Chemistry, and General Science for GCSE and A-Level students, as well as university-level Microbiology, Biomedical Science, and related topics. I also support mature students preparing for healthcare courses or returning to study. Above all, I aim to create a supportive, engaging space where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace.
