I recently graduated with a first class degree in English Literature from Cambridge University and, prior to this, I attended St Paul's School in Barnes. I am a patient, diligent and empathetic humanities tutor and can be highly responsive and adaptive to the specific needs of each student. At secondary level, I have an advanced understanding of both examination rubric and university applications procedures, including preparation for interviews and writing UCAS personal statements. I also have experience working with primary school aged children in a range of disciplines and have an acute awareness of the importance of these formative years. I hold a fully accredited TEFL qualification and am equipped to teach English as a foreign language. I am a keen actor and theatrical practitioner and (where appropriate) am interested in exploring ways of making education more dynamic, incorporating drama games and speech exercises into the learning process
