About Addison

For over 12 years, I have been helping students improve their singing skills and develop confidence through music. I teach Singing to School students, College students, and Working Professionals, offering lessons that are customised to meet individual learning needs.

My teaching approach combines technical instruction with creativity and self-expression. I understand that each student has unique strengths and challenges, so I adapt my methods accordingly. My goal is to make learning enjoyable while ensuring steady improvement and measurable results.

Students in my classes learn vocal warm-ups, breathing control, pitch accuracy, rhythm practice, tone development, articulation, and stage performance techniques. Through practical activities and personalised feedback, they gain the confidence and skills needed to become successful singers.

Besides Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Performance, Song Interpretation, and Performance Skills. These subjects provide students with a strong musical foundation and enhance their overall musicianship. I also encourage consistent practice and disciplined learning habits.

I strive to create a welcoming environment where students feel supported and motivated. My mission is to help learners discover their unique voices, achieve their goals, and develop a lifelong appreciation for music.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology for Singing is based on flexibility, creativity, understanding, and effective time management. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit individual learning styles, goals, and musical interests. My aim is to create a supportive environment where students feel confident developing their vocal abilities while enjoying the learning process.

I begin by understanding each student's current skill level, strengths, and aspirations. Based on this assessment, I create a personalised learning plan that encourages steady progress and measurable improvement. Whether students want to sing for personal enjoyment, school performances, competitions, or professional opportunities, I tailor my lessons to meet their needs.

Creativity is a key part of my teaching approach. I use vocal exercises, song interpretation activities, listening practice, and performance tasks to make learning interactive and enjoyable. These activities help students strengthen both technical and artistic skills.

My lessons focus on breath control, pitch accuracy, rhythm, diction, vocal tone, expression, and stage confidence. Students learn practical techniques that can be applied immediately to improve their singing performance.

Understanding and patience help me create a positive atmosphere where students feel encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn confidently.

Time management ensures that every lesson remains organised and productive. Sessions include vocal warm-ups, technical training, song work, and performance preparation.

Besides Singing, I can teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Singing, Vocal Health, and Performance Skills. My goal is to help students become confident, expressive, and skilled singers.
