About Elisabeth

I'm Elisabeth. I graduated top of my class with a 3.95 GPA in an Applied Science of Nursing degree. I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. I enjoyed my experience in nursing school, and a few professors transformed it from mundane to memorable. It was thanks to these professors, who continually encouraged my growth in nursing, that my interest in learning was piqued. As an atypical learner, I benefited from professors who had an open-door policy and took the time to explain concepts in new ways, helping me excel. They individualized my learning, which is something I would also do as a tutor.

About the lesson

I have been tutoring NCLEX prep and helping students graduate nursing school for over 4 years now. I have countless students who have entrusted me with helping them in their education and it has paid off in dividends, for both of us. I continue to strive to make the tutoring experience as enjoyable for a student as possible. I look to remove the anxiety of nursing school/NCLEX prep, and replace it with confidence and understanding for the student to recognize their success! My approach to teaching both nursing content and NCLEX prep is to instill confidence, provide information where gaps in knowledge may be present, and provide NCLEX-style questions to apply knowledge. I use the teach-back method wherever I can to assess understanding. My goal is to make every student successful in whatever they choose to become. I am open to any and all resources and suggestions that both the student or parent may be able to provide. I am easy to reach and will always respond in a timely manner.
