About Keryn
I currently work in a Coronary Care Unit in a Metro Hospital. I have my Bachelor of Nursing through QUT and I am currently studying a Post-Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing.
My career goal is to pursue clinical education and I'm passionate in mentoring and educating nursing students and new graduates that are placed in my unit.
Though, I have only been a registered nurse for 3+ years, I understand the stresses of being a nursing student in this recent day and age. I also understand the clinical knowledge and clinical thinking that is vital to succeed as a RN in this competitive workplace.

As a nursing student, heavy knowledge-content subjects can be overwhelming to understand in a short 10-12 week term. My lessons will focus on content areas you are struggling with and apply different learning strategies tailored to you that your lecturer or tutor at uni don't have the flexibility to provide. I focus on teaching subjects that revolve around A&P, disease pathophysiology and clinical therapeutics.
Depending on the content, lessons can be from 60-90 minutes, face-to-face in Brisbane Northside to CBD region or remotely. I can also help build studying plans to prepare for up coming exams and provide mentoring on assessment content.
It is worth noting that I assist in teaching you the knowledge in the areas you are struggling in, I do not assist in academic writing or APA referencing.

Keryn is constantly dedicated to improve her knowledge and help those around her. She is kind and compassionate towards others, not only at work but in her personal too. She has always said to me that if she didn’t pursue healthcare she would of pursued teaching to fulfil her passion to help others. I think students will have a great opportunity to learn off her as she will always give everything her all to support others.
Keryn has always been passionate about her nursing career and stays motivated to continuously learn. She has often expressed her joy when working with nursing students at work and her goal to be a clinical educator. When Keryn told me about starting tutoring on the side, I knew that it would benefit so many students as she is compassionate and motivated to help those in need.

$35 during 0800-1800hrs weekdays
$45 during 0900-1800hrs on Saturdays and between 1800-2100hrs weekdays
It is worth noting I currently shift work at a .8 capacity as well as study part time and will need flexibility around my working schedules. I will accommodate my best to your availability also.
