About Fadzai

I am a Registered Nurse with experience in acute stroke care, medical wards, home dialysis and Continuing Healthcare. I currently work as a CHC Case Manager and Assessor, alongside maintaining my clinical skills through bank nursing.

I have four years of experience teaching patients and carers to perform dialysis safely at home. This has strengthened my passion for teaching and taught me the importance of patience, clear communication and adapting my approach to each individual's learning needs.

Through my clinical practice and involvement in multidisciplinary teams (MDTs), I have developed strong assessment, communication and problem-solving skills.

I understand that learning something new or progressing in your career can sometimes feel overwhelming. My aim is to create a friendly, supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, developing your knowledge and building confidence at your own pace.

Whether you are a nursing student, newly qualified nurse or healthcare professional looking to strengthen your clinical knowledge, prepare for interviews or explore career opportunities, I would be happy to support you.

About the lesson

My teaching approach

I am a Registered Nurse with experience across stroke nursing, home dialysis, acute medical wards in different hospital settings and Continuing Healthcare. I enjoy teaching, sharing knowledge and helping others develop their skills and confidence.

My teaching approach is personalised and learner-centred. Through teaching patients and carers in home dialysis, I learnt that everyone has different needs, levels of understanding and preferred ways of learning. I adapt my lessons to the individual rather than expecting everyone to learn in the same way.

I begin by understanding your goals, existing knowledge and areas where you need support. Depending on your needs, I use clear explanations, practical examples, guided discussions, questions and answers, case-based scenarios and practice activities to help you understand and apply what you learn.

My lessons aim to provide a supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and learning at your own pace.

Who I teach

I support nursing students, newly qualified nurses and healthcare professionals who want to develop their clinical knowledge, strengthen their professional skills or progress in their careers. Depending on your goals, I can help with relevant clinical nursing topics within my areas of experience, professional development, personal statements, job applications and interview preparation.

Lesson structure

I recommend starting with a 60-minute session. We will discuss your goals, work on your priority areas, practise what you have learnt and agree on your next steps. Each session is tailored to your individual needs and objectives.

My aim is to help you build knowledge, confidence and practical skills that you can apply in your studies or professional journey.
