About Elara
I am a Physics tutor with over 6 years of experience helping high school students build confidence and achieve strong results. I hold a BSc in Space and Planetary Science, which gives me a deep understanding of physical principles and how they apply to the universe. I work closely with students preparing for IGCSE and A-Level Physics examinations. I understand the challenges these exams bring and guide students with patience and clarity.
My teaching approach focuses on building strong conceptual foundations. I use detailed derivations to help students understand where formulas come from. This makes Physics more logical and less dependent on memorisation. I also incorporate practical experiments to make abstract ideas more concrete and engaging. Students learn by seeing how theory connects to real-world behaviour.
I place strong emphasis on past paper analysis. This helps students become familiar with exam patterns and improve their problem-solving speed. I specialise in Mechanics, Electricity, and Waves, ensuring students gain a solid understanding of core topics. I break down complex problems into simple, manageable steps.

My teaching approach in Physics is systematic, clear, and focused on building strong understanding from the ground up. I believe students learn best when complex ideas are broken into simple, logical steps. This helps them understand not just what happens, but why it happens.
I teach core topics such as mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, states of matter, and gas laws. I also cover energy concepts in detail to build a strong foundation. My focus is on explaining macroscopic behaviour in a structured and easy-to-follow way.
I use clear breakdowns of physical systems to help students see how different factors interact. This makes abstract ideas more understandable. I also encourage students to connect theory with real-life examples. This improves their ability to apply concepts in different situations.
My method includes regular feedback after each topic. This helps students identify mistakes and improve steadily. I support learners who enjoy hands-on thinking and experimental learning, guiding them to explore physics in practical ways. I also encourage curiosity and problem-solving at every step.
