About Daphne
With 6 years of dedicated tutoring experience, I specialise in teaching Spanish to students of all levels. During this time, I have successfully taught around 150–200 students, each with unique learning goals and backgrounds. My mission is to provide personalised learning experiences that make Spanish accessible, engaging, and rewarding for every learner.
I believe that successful language learning depends on understanding each student's individual strengths and challenges. Before creating lesson plans, I evaluate the student's current level, learning preferences, and objectives. This allows me to design customised lessons that improve grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in a balanced and effective manner.
My lessons include interactive conversations, practical exercises, real-life examples, cultural discussions, and regular revision sessions. These activities help students develop both accuracy and confidence while using Spanish naturally. I encourage active participation because students learn best when they communicate, practice consistently, and receive supportive feedback throughout their learning journey.
One of my strongest qualities is my patience and ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and understandable way. I adapt my teaching methods to match different learning styles, ensuring every student feels comfortable and motivated. I also monitor progress regularly and provide constructive guidance that helps students improve steadily and stay focused on their goals.
For me, tutoring is about building confidence as much as teaching a language. I strive to create a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, overcome challenges, and celebrate every achievement.
