About Aishani
I am Aishani Chakraborty, currently living in Cambridge, UK. I am a research assistant at the University of Cambridge where I spend most days in the lab, looking at fruit flies and figuring out (or at least, try to) developmental processes. I am fascinated by what all science has to offer and being in academia, I would love to propagate more of this knowledge to the younger generations.

I have been super-passionate about science and believe that no concept is too hard to understand if it is being taught properly. I am very patient and calm when it comes to explaining things. I like to think that information is retained better when it's to-and-fro and not just one person speaking. Therefore, I would have as much interaction during lessons as possible. Having supervised an undergrad in lab, I have gained experience tutoring and taking care of their needs.
I am flexible with the timings of lessons but since I have a full-time job, I would prefer tutoring either on weekends or after 5pm on weekdays.
I would prefer teaching biology to GCSE as well as A-level students, but am open to tutoring younger pupils too.
