About Ivy
For over 5 years, I have helped students unlock their musical creativity through guitar. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance (Contemporary Styles), which guides my balanced and contemporary teaching style. Technique matters. Expression matters more.
My lessons focus on composition, arranging, and developing original works. We study harmonic concepts, melodic invention, and practical counterpoint. I also show students how to record simple demos of their pieces.
From Beginners to Advanced and Professional composers, I tailor each session to individual ambitions. Every lesson blends structure with creative freedom. Growth is steady and inspiring. Join me and discover the joy of creating your own guitar music.

I teach guitar by showing how theory comes alive on the instrument. Lessons cover scales, modes, chord construction, and harmonic analysis in practical ways. You’ll learn to see the fretboard with new clarity.
We explore improvisation, composition, and harmonic thinking in musical contexts. Students learn to craft melodies, analyze progressions, and apply theory in real time. Recording ideas reinforces creativity.
