About Inaya
I am a dedicated Mathematics tutor with over 3 years of experience helping students build confidence and clarity in their learning. I hold a BSc in Mathematics with Actuarial Science, which has provided me with a strong analytical foundation and a deep understanding of problem-solving techniques. My teaching is driven by a genuine passion for simplifying complex ideas. I believe mathematics becomes enjoyable when it is properly understood.
My primary focus is discrete mathematics, a field that serves as the backbone of computer science. I specialize in topics such as logic, set theory, graph theory, and combinatorics. These areas often appear abstract at first, but I make them intuitive and approachable. I guide students step by step, ensuring they grasp both concepts and their connections.
Over the years, I have worked extensively with computer science students, helping them understand the mathematical principles behind algorithms and data structures. I emphasize not just how things work, but why they work. This deeper understanding allows students to think critically and solve problems independently. My teaching approach in Mathematics is highly structured, with every lesson carefully planned to build on previous knowledge. Each topic is introduced step by step, ensuring that students gain a deep and lasting understanding while keeping the learning process clear and manageable.
Problem-solving is a central focus of my methodology. I guide students through different types of questions, helping them develop logical reasoning and analytical thinking. Real-world examples are used wherever possible, allowing students to see how mathematical concepts apply in practical situations. This approach builds confidence and prepares students for both exams and real-life applications.
Every lesson is tailored to the individual student, with a clear progression path to ensure steady growth. Concepts are reinforced through practice, interactive exercises, and guided problem-solving.
