I have always considered the role of an Educator as a profession, not just a career. I prided myself as a teacher whose first priority was the student and his or her success in my class, and that remains my priority as a tutor. I believe in my students and work diligently to gain their respect and trust.

I have 20 years teaching experience with 8 of those teaching reading to remedial learners. While whole group learning is often necessary, I have found that the student and teacher one-on-one experience works best. I am able to assess the student's particular learning style and formulate an individualized lesson plan geared toward success.
