I have known Mary since 2009 when she was employed as trainer on a provincial literacy project. I was her manager, mentor and colleague. In all the years as her manager I have found Mary to be one of the most committed and skilled trainers in Read's employ. Mary works extremely well independently, but also functions equally well as a team member. She possesses a host of skills in the field of education, has a friendly and approachable nature and is always exceptionally well-prepared for any task she tackles. She is friendly, has a great sense of humour, is level headed and a great problem solver. Mary has demonstrated that she can easily forge professional relationships - she is both approachable and adept at coaxing the most out of her students.
