About Dionne
I am a retired teacher who has been teaching for over 40 years and I, therefore, have a wealth of experience I. have a 3-year Primary Teachers' Diploma, as well as a Remedial Teachers'Diploma (UNISA) and a TEFL certificate. I am passionate about my teaching and helping my students reach their full potential. I have taught in both private and government schools, as well as teaching online for this past year. I have taught ages 5-14 years and look forward to broadening my horizons with more online teaching.

I feel that building up a student's self-confidence to enable them to have the courage to participate in the English lessons is the first step to teaching a new student. I would start with a warm-up to get to know the student, before introducing the new lesson's content. This would be presented in an interesting and catchy way with lots of practice to help their language acquisition, rounding off the lesson with something fun.
