About Trevor
I am a dedicated drum tutor with 11 years of experience teaching beginner, intermediate, and advanced students. Over the years, I have successfully guided around 150 students in improving rhythm sense, coordination, and overall drumming technique. My teaching style is clear, patient, and well-structured.
I plan lessons based on each student’s level and pace of learning. Students start with rhythm basics and coordination exercises, then gradually move toward advanced grooves, fills, and musical expression. I ensure lessons are easy to follow and goal-oriented. A key strength of my tutoring is my step-by-step teaching method.
I explain concepts in simple language and provide clear practice guidance. I also focus on correct technique and consistency to help students achieve long-term improvement. I aim to create a calm and supportive learning space. My goal is to help students enjoy drumming, build confidence, and develop strong skills through steady progress.

Flexibility allows me to personalize lessons according to student needs. I adjust lesson structure, difficulty, and pace to ensure steady progress without pressure. This helps students stay motivated and confident.
Collaboration is encouraged throughout the learning process. I actively involve students in discussions, rhythm exercises, and practice planning. This shared learning experience builds confidence and responsibility.
Positivity defines my teaching environment. I create a friendly and encouraging space where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
In addition to drum instruction, I teach supporting subjects such as beat structure, timing accuracy, hand and foot coordination, basic music theory, listening skills, and disciplined practice methods.
