About Olivia
With over 5 years of teaching experience and a BM in Studio Music and Jazz, Guitar Principal, I specialise in teaching guitar for film scoring and video game soundtracks. I cover Electric, Acoustic, Classical, and Bass Guitar, with lessons emphasising atmospheric textures, thematic development, and sound design.
I integrate DAWs into lessons, teaching recording, layering, and composition techniques. I work with youth and adult learners, tailoring lessons to goals and skill levels. Improvisation, stylistic versatility, and creative exploration are central to every session.
My teaching is student-centred, encouraging experimentation and artistic growth. Lessons combine technical mastery with cinematic music creation. Together, we bring films and games to life through guitar.

I teach guitar with a focus on style versatility and musical exploration. Lessons cover funk, metal, country, jazz, and more, teaching techniques suited to each genre. My approach combines technical skill with creative expression.
I work with The Teenage Rebel and The Recording Artist, guiding them to explore new sounds and musical ideas. Improvisation, phrasing, tone, and rhythm are emphasised in every lesson. Lessons are tailored to student goals and level.
Mistakes are embraced as learning opportunities. Exploration and curiosity are encouraged. Students develop a versatile and confident musical voice.
