About Lois
Sometimes the hardest part is just starting. I assess your current level through a free trial session to ensure we begin at the right point.
We spend time on barre chords and improvisation while practicing strumming patterns. Ear training remains a central part of our work together. Learn rhythm guitar. You will also use reading tabs to track your progress throughout our time together.

Patience is essential when guiding kids and teens through their initial musical steps. I hold a BMus Popular Music from the Queensland Conservatorium and a Licenciatura from Argentina. Over 13 years of performing in the Australian Latin music scene shaped my teaching character.
I specialize in breaking down complex concepts for absolute beginners who want to build a solid foundation. My background allows me to connect with the Latin diaspora community through shared cultural roots. Working with students at the start of their journey is where I feel most at home. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable asking questions.
My approach focuses on making sure you feel supported as you learn these new skills. I enjoy watching new players find their own voice.
