About Madeira
I am a rising college freshman who has always loved to read and write. I've always done very well in my English classes, regardless of what kind of material they cover, and have experience working with other students to improve their writing. Aside from my work within school, I've also always considered reading and writing to be passions of mine when I'm at home, and I have dedicated a lot of time to improving my own skills, which I can then translate to the skills of others.

I've always been a strong writer, and I have extensive experience with English classes. I plan to provide prompts, and then evaluate how the student would respond to them, including the structure of their responses and strength of their reasoning. In terms of reading, I can provide different levels of reading material depending on the age and skill level of the student. From these sources, we can practice anything from basic reading skills to annotations and literary analysis. We can work together to determine what kind of reading and writing practice works best for you, as well as how we can tie these skills in to an actual class in school or specific project. These lessons would be primarily aimed at those in their Sophomore year of high school or below, though I'm open to working with high school upperclassmen as well.
