About Maya
I am an AP student that has continued to challenge myself with rigorous coursework, while also helping others to develop their skills in and outside the classroom. I am particularly passionate about the humanities, from English to art and music. Additionally, I have years of experience babysitting younger children and know how to boost confidence and make learning fun! However, I myself am still a student, meaning I can relate to my younger students and understand their academic struggles.

I am an honors and AP student with experience working with younger school-aged children. I am eager to make concepts students are struggling with, such as reading or learning their first string instrument, fun and rewarding. The first session will focus on evaluating the student’s needs, while future lessons will build on and cater to said needs through engaging lessons. I hope to make education as stress-free and rewarding as possible, for both student and parent. However, my ultimate goal as a tutor is to get students to a point where they are confident in their skills and don’t need me anymore!
