About Elise
I graduated from Arlington High School in 2024 and I am now a rising junior at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. I am home in the Boston area for the summer, and I am excited to offer tutoring here. In school, I am studying biology including coursework in general Biology, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry (I and II), Physics, Calculus, Chemistry lab work, and many Spanish courses. In addition to my classes, I am a part of the varsity cross country and track team, I volunteer at a nearby hospital during the semester, and I enjoy exploring the surrounding area of Pittsburgh and especially its exciting arts scene!

Hi! My name is Elise and I am super excited to work with you. I learn best through examples and working through problems step-by-step, so I apply those same strategies in my tutoring. I take an interpersonal approach and I value getting to know the student - I believe it builds the best environment for learning. I specialize in areas of middle, elementary, and high school STEM as well as humanities and up to intermediate level Spanish.
