About YieShyuen
I'm a Communications and Media student, and as such being able to communicate effectively is of utmost importance.
Being from Singapore, Im fluently bilingual in Mandarin and English, and can translate meanings and phrases easily for your understanding.
A student I had while in Singapore, managed to score an A, where he previously was scoring a C. Under my guidance, I aim to improve your ability to use English not just in a daily but also professional, and educational setting.

My teaching method is largely non-textbook based. I would like to have a conversation with you to gauge where you are on your abilities, and work from there.
I mainly teach English to those who are keen on learning from a more conversational angle, rather than from textbooks and practice questions.
I don't believe in drilling a certain way of speaking, but to teach you and allow you to develop a style on your own.

Details
Rates for students are the same, no matter what level you are at.
If the journey is more than one hour (one way) there will be an additional charge of $5.
There will be no cancellation fee if the lesson is cancelled at least 24 hours prior. However, if the lesson is cancelled within 12 hours, there will be an extra cost of $10.
