About Edouard
Hi, I'm Edouard — a Robotics student at the University of Manchester. Like many students, I'm tutoring to fund my studies, but I also genuinely enjoy it: there's nothing better than watching a concept click for someone.
I once helped a young girl who was overwhelmed with homework, one day left, formulae to memorise, exercises piling up. I showed her how to break things down step by step. 45 minutes later, she'd finished everything on her own.

My approach
Every student learns differently, so I don't follow a fixed syllabus — lessons are student-led, built around whatever you're struggling with or want to focus on that week, whether that's a specific homework problem, a concept from class, or exam prep.
For Maths and Physics, I rely heavily on drawings and sketches to make abstract concepts concrete — I find visual explanations stick far better than verbal ones alone. I screen-share throughout so you can follow exactly what I'm writing in real time, as if we were sitting side by side.
For Python, I've designed my own beginner-friendly learning programme for students starting from zero coding experience. It progresses step by step — from the fundamentals like variables and loops — up to small projects, so you build real, practical skills rather than just memorising syntax. As with everything else, I teach live on screen-share, writing and debugging code together so you can see the logic build in real time.
If you're preparing for exams (GCSE, Brevet, or Bac), we work through past papers together, going over technique as well as content — how to structure answers, manage time, and avoid common mistakes.
Lessons run one hour and are open to secondary school students (GCSE, Brevet, Bac), in English or French. I've tutored throughout my own school years and am now studying Robotics at the University of Manchester, with a Bac in Physics (20/20) and Maths (19/20).

We have been extremely pleased with the support our son received from Edouard. He was thoughtful and patient in his approach, taking the time to explain different mathematical methods clearly and in a way that made sense to our son.
What really stood out was that he didn’t just focus on getting the right answer; he made sure our son understood the problem, the method behind it, and was confident enough to solve similar problems independently. His encouragement and ability to adapt his explanations to suit our son’s needs made a real difference.
We would highly recommend him to any student looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated maths teacher.I strongly recommend Edouard. His problem-solving skills are really strong, and he makes sure his explanations are easy to follow by patiently showing you the different steps and even drawing if necessary. Whenever he talks about maths, physics, and chemistry, his passion really shows through and makes you eager to learn more. He’s also very kind and funny, which makes his lessons even more enjoyable!
I know Édouard from high school and he helped me a lot especially in maths. He would explain to me how to solve a problem step by step in an easy and understandable way, even if I wasn’t paying him or anything lmao. So yeah he’s a very good teacher :) !
