About Ace

My story is simple and tragic. I decided to learn how to sing at the age of 17. I hired a singing tutor. Ten years later, I've been through 15 of them.

FIFTEEN SINGING TUTORS and I still couldn't sing.

I sounded awful, my tone was garbage, and I had no idea how to even approach singing. I played guitar and bass, I played shows, but singing was still alien to me - even though I have had lessons, every week, where the tutors told me THE BIG LIE: "Just do these drills and you'll learn". Obviously, that wasn't working.

Then, one day I got extremely angry and spent the next 5 years learning all I can about singing, practicing every drill and excercise that I could find, hiring the most famous (and very expensive) YouTube singing coaches and grinding my ass off to understand why I was unteacheable (and how to sound good). Spoiler alert - the singing science is there, and it's not a secret, but IF you're NOT a natural singer, you need a specific approach to singing, because you've already acquired bad habits & misaligned instincts. But, singing tutors are usually naturally talented by default, so they have no idea on how to actually fix your voice and make you unstuck. They never, ever sounded as bad as we did. So, what they do is show you the road and guide you to your destination BEFORE teaching you how to walk. And they almost never explain which shoes to buy ("well, buy whatever shoes you like" they say) whereas they spend hours on the Internet, searching for the most ergonomic shoes possible. It's a dumb approach and it doesn't work.

So, if you've already tried 10 singing tutorials, bought and didn't finish 2 expensive singing courses, and studied with a couple of coaches - all to no avail - I'm your guy. I know EXACTLY what you need to do get unstuck and finally learn how to sing. It will save you years.

When I was finally able to sing my first song properly,I cried and got absolutely plastered. That's how happy I was. I want YOU to feel the same in the near future.

I will lead you all the way from finding out why your tone is off to recording your first song (we can even do a demo in my home studio). And yes, you will finally stop hating the way your voice when you record it (it's called "voice confrontation" and we fix this once and for all).

We'll learn:
* breath support, vowels, consonants, intonation
* staying in tune & how to understand the melody and how to find and remember the notes of a specific song - the thing SINGING TUTORS ALMOST ALWAYS AVOID TALKING ABOUT, focusing on anatomy of singing instead
* how to fix a nasal & twangy, or a dull and breathy sounding voice
* how to sing gently or powerfuly and how to mix those two in a song; chest and head voice, falsetto, mix voice etc.
* how to sing choruses and verses and why you never sound like your favorite singer
* how to stop your voice from cracking
* how to enunciate words properly ("Wake up (wake up)
Grab a brush and put a little make-up
Why'd you leave the keys upon the table?
Here you go create another fable, you wanted to" is NOT that hard, trust me
* how to sing freely and not damage your voice
* expanding your sining range while keeping it realistic (we have a roadmap but we don't believe in fairy tails and no, you will not sound like Chester or Freddy Mercury after 3-4 lessons)
* how to practice and not lose motivation
