About Zaryab

So why me? I'm incredibly passionate about Space, STEM, the sciences and I love to share my passion with the next generation. My career choice has allowed me to travel the world and work on some incredible projects, I am currently working on Europe's first reusable rocket engine with the European Space Agency and have previously been involved with NASA. I completed an integrated Masters in Aero-Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, graduating with a First-Class degree. In high school, I achieved AAAAA in my Scottish Highers and AAA in Scottish Advanced Highers (A-level equivalent) including in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I am also heavily involved in STEM outreach and would be happy to provide my DBS form, just ask!

About the lesson

I am happy to cater my lessons to the needs of my students. Usually, I begin by building a solid understanding of what the problem is asking before reinforcing this learning with more challenging problems. My style also allows the student to bring me specific questions from past exams and then I can teach the best methodology to solve them step-by-step. I began tutoring by teaching my peers in the lead-up to exams through school and university. Which resulted in them gaining great results, and me further cementing my own knowledge in the relevant subjects. I then continued this by teaching both children and adults outside my studies. The most recent examples are helping two secondary school students achieve A grades in their A-level Mathematics and Physics exams, and helping an adult pass her Mathematics requirements for teaching. My lessons are for GCSE equivalent and up, in Maths & Physics, and also for University students studying Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering. Lastly, I can also teach in Urdu/Hindi!
