About Elena
With more than 4 years of experience teaching piano, I’ve had the joy of working with students from beginners to seasoned professionals. My training includes a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with a Pedagogy focus, equipping me with both technical expertise and strong teaching foundations. My lessons emphasize sight-reading fluency, score analysis, and expressive interpretation of challenging repertoire. At the same time, I encourage curiosity and creativity. I adapt my methods to each student’s needs, ensuring progress feels personal and meaningful. Alongside repertoire study, lessons explore theory, history, and performance traditions. Technical work, including finger exercises, supports agility and control. I also incorporate period performance practices, helping students connect to the original character of the music. Over time, students build independence, artistry, and confidence. My goal is to cultivate not just pianists, but musicians who feel deeply connected to their craft. Teaching is about nurturing potential while celebrating progress. Join me in discovering the depth and artistry of the piano.

I believe piano lessons should prepare students for both classical performance and modern creativity. The first step is strong training in sight-reading, technique, and musical interpretation. From there, I introduce digital tools like synthesizers and DAWs. Students learn how to record, layer, and edit their performances. This makes practice more interactive and rewarding. Recording techniques also give them the ability to track progress over time. Beginners benefit from structured, simple steps. Advanced students are challenged to refine their artistry with depth. Highly gifted students are supported in using technology to expand their sound. This keeps learning exciting while building real-world skills. Lessons combine structure with flexibility, tradition with innovation. I want students to feel inspired every time they sit at the piano. Together, we explore the full possibilities of the instrument.
