About Shivani
With a background in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry (MSc) and more than five years of tutoring experience, I bring a unique perspective to teaching forensic chemistry. My lessons cover drug analysis, toxicology, and crime scene investigation. I don’t just teach content—I teach how to think like a forensic scientist. Simulated case files are central to my method, challenging students to apply theory to practice. Alongside that, I break down analytical instrumentation so students grasp the tools behind the science. Ethics is a recurring theme, because integrity is as important as evidence. I enjoy guiding students who want to pursue careers in forensic labs or law enforcement. Many of them appreciate the balance of challenge and support in my teaching. I see every lesson as a chance to connect abstract chemistry to real-world problems. Students leave not just with knowledge but with perspective. My mission is to make science meaningful. For me, chemistry is the art of uncovering truth and serving justice.

My teaching method is systematic, designed to simplify complex areas of organic chemistry. We cover topics such as nomenclature, functional groups, reaction mechanisms, and isomerism in a clear and logical order. Every lesson builds on the previous one, ensuring steady progress. I often use visual aids and practice problems to make abstract concepts more concrete. For Environmentalists and Marine Biologists, I tailor examples to match their fields. This makes the learning more relevant and motivating. I give consistent feedback so students know exactly where they stand and how to improve. Mistakes are addressed constructively, turning them into opportunities. Once the foundation is solid, we move into organic synthesis step by step. I focus not just on memorization but on problem-solving skills. My aim is to help students feel confident in analyzing reactions and structures. I support learners in becoming independent thinkers in chemistry. By the end, they see carbon compounds not as obstacles, but as fascinating building blocks of life.
