About Leti
Hi! I’m a Rotman Commerce student at the University of Toronto and a native Spanish speaker. I’m passionate about languages, education, and connecting with people from different backgrounds.
I’m also a former professional swimmer, an experience that taught me discipline, perseverance, consistency, and how to stay motivated when facing challenges. I believe these qualities have also shaped the way I teach: I’m patient, dedicated, and genuinely enjoy helping others improve.
Outside of school and teaching, I love art and reading. I particularly enjoy the works of William Shakespeare and Ernesto Sábato, as I find literature to be a wonderful way to explore different perspectives, emotions, and cultures.
I’m very happy to teach Spanish because I truly believe that language connects people and opens doors to new opportunities, friendships, cultures, and experiences. I would love to share my language and culture with my students and make learning Spanish an enjoyable and meaningful experience!
