About Ruby
Hi! I’m a Psychology student in London with several years of experience working with children and young people in school settings. I’ve worked as a Teaching Assistant as well as in school reception and attendance roles, giving me a good understanding of both the academic and pastoral side of education.
I have a strong academic background across both humanities and STEM subjects and can offer support with Maths and STEM at Primary and KS3 level, alongside GCSE English and Humanities.
I’m friendly, approachable and patient, and I really enjoy helping young people build their confidence and realise that subjects they find difficult can become much more manageable with the right support.

My lessons are friendly, patient and tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. As a Psychology student with experience working as a Teaching Assistant in schools, I understand that every student learns differently and aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence.
I can support Primary and KS3 students with Maths and STEM subjects, as well as GCSE English and Humanities. Lessons can focus on topics a student is struggling with, homework support, revision and exam preparation, or simply building confidence in a subject.
I’m also happy to adapt my approach for students with SEN or additional learning needs, breaking topics down into manageable steps and working at a pace that suits them.
